APA Dakar (Senegal)- Officials of Senegal’s Economic Interest Group, GAINDE 2000 which is operating the single Window for customs operation in Senegal, met a visiting delegation of the Japanese organization NTTDATA, which is dedicated to the electronic processing of air and maritime freight. “This delegation came to inquire about the experience of the GAINDE 2000 dematerialization procedures and Single Window platform. We interacted with officials of the NTTDATA in several IT conference after which their interest in the African market was aroused,” the General Manager of GAINDE 2000, Ibrahima Nour Eddine DIAGNE declared.
They had an opportunity to visit GAINDE 2000 Premises during the sidelines of the opening of the seventh general assembly of the African Alliance for Electronic Commerce (AACE) on Tuesday May 31st that was held in Dakar. According to Mr. DIAGNE, GAINDE 2000 and NTTDATA had worked on a roadmap for a future partnership between the two organizations. Created in 2002, GAINDE 2000 supports countries in their desire to meet the challenges of a modern administrative services through the reduction of bottlenecks, official red-tape and time-consuming processing of business. The AAEC African Alliance for E-Ecommerce was launched in Ethiopia in 2009 , the AACE has increased from 9 to 16 members.
They include Senegal, Egypt, Ghana, Madagascar, Mauritius, Ivory Coast, Mali, Libya, Kenya, Republic of Congo, Morocco, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Tunisie, Nigeria, Benin, Gabon and the UEMOA Commission.
