The Linagora group intends to place itself among one of the « major stakeholders of the Digital Transformation in Africa », as part of Assizes organized by CIO MAG.
Organized by the magazine CIO Mag, Assizes of the Digital Transformation in Africa have gathered the digital world from November 3 to 4 in Paris at the Dauphine pavilion.
LINAGORA was partner of that 5th edition which deals with « Issues of the digital development in the African Territories ; E-administration ».
As part of the “Digital Africa Days” and launching of the Alliance for the Digital Development (ADD), Alexandre Zapolsky, Chairman and Managing Director of LINAGORA, welcomes this new participation : “This new event allows us meeting every year the decision makers and entrepreneurs working on Digital Africa. These meetings are really both necessary ans important because we believe in one model based on the co-development between French and African businesses.” The CMD of the French business has equally expressed himself during the plenary on : “what infrastructures for an effective e-administration ?”
That chance has been for Alexandre Zapolsky a big opportunity to repeat his commitment for the Digital Africa. Mr Zapolsky confirms : “I believe in a third digital channel, that one offered by the open source software between those from americans and chineses !
LINAGORA is very proud to set up that third digital channel with key African partners like GAINDE 2000 ! The African Continent has to build digital economy of its own. To LINAGORA, it will be relevant and important to set up not only E-gov but also open source E-gov in order to manage innovation and employment at the local level. Finally, training is the big challenge for digital in Africa. It will be necessary to massively train young African to digital in order to be able to more easily satisfy needs.”
These assizes was equally the occasion for LINAGORA to welcome his African partners like Mr Ibrahima Diagne, Managing Director of GAINDE 2000, within the new premises of LINAGORA to the Defense.
