To mark the celebration of the international day dedicated to them, the women of GAINDE 2000 made donations to the Medina Nursery to help better support children. The gesture was highly appreciated by those in charge of the management of this institution.
The women of GAINDE 2000 were not outdone during the celebration of International Women’s Day. To mark the event, they made a social gesture in favor of the residents of the Medina nursery by granting them donations in several natures. It was in the presence of the General Manager of GAINDE 2000, Ibrahima Nour Eddine Diagne.
Sister Carmen, one of the nursery managers welcomed this symbolic gesture of the women of GAINDE 2000. If these children are not taken care of, society risks falling. Because they are the future of our society. Somehow, our lack of responsibility is what is causing these children to find themselves in this situation. Thanks to you, we can handle them properly. It is very difficult and complicated and very heavy. You all know about it,” she said.
The women of GAINDE 2000 made this gesture to allow the Nursery to help the Franciscan sisters to better take care of abandoned or orphaned children. It should be recalled that the nursery of the Medina was created on August 5, 1955, by the Congregation of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Mary (FMM). It aims to “welcome and take charge” of abandoned babies, orphans, or from parents in difficulty.
