Manila, Philippines, december 17 th , 2024 – GAINDE 2000 Managing Director, Ibrahima Nour Eddine Diagne has been elected Vice-President of Pan-Asian E- Commerce Alliance during the 70 th meeting of the Steering Committee and Working Group, held in Manila (Philippines), from November 11 to 13 rd , 2024.
This election reflects a recognition of Senegalese expertise beyond its borders and the country's significant contribution to the development and promotion of e- commerce worldwide. As the only African sitting on the PAA Steering Committee, the nomination of Ibrahima Nour Eddine Diagne will be a huge asset to the Pan- Asian E-Commerce Alliance. His wide and rich experience in digitalization will thus enable this organization to meet the many current challenges facing e-commerce. This nomination will highlight Senegalese expertise in digitalization domain.
GAINDE 2000 is one of the oldest PPP operating single window since 2004.
Other members were elected during these meetings. These are Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir Jamalullail (Malaysia), brought to the head of the PAA presidency while Francis Lopez (Philippines), CEO of Inter Commerce, and AJ Smith, CEO of TradeWindow (New Zealand), were appointed vice-presidents.
